PROTECTIVE FOAM PACKAGING
TimBar can create high performance packaging solutions using specialty
foams and corrugated to produce a wide variety of interior protective
foam packaging solutions for highly sensitive instruments, components,
and electronics. Our specialized structural designers can create
custom solutions for medical devices, computers and electronic
components for military and aerospace applications.
The foam materials we use for these applications include:
LAMINATED POLYETHYLENE FOAM PLANK (shown above right)
- Widely used for appliances, electronics, high-tech components, medical devices and automotive parts. Light density foam provides cushioning protection for lighter weight products. Its exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio reduces cube and costs by providing superior protection with less material.
- Medium density foam provides cushioning protection against repeated shock. Features a soft surface that fabricates easily and heat-bonds without skiving.
POLYURETHANE FOAM PLANK
- Ideal for light to medium weight cushioning protection and high volume, cost sensitive packaging applications.
- Low cost cushion packaging option.
CONVOLUTED EGGCRATE FOAM LINERS (shown above left)
- Helps hold valuable items in place.
