TimBar POP Completes G7 Master Qualification Process

(April 5, 2010) TimBar Packaging & Display's Point-of-Purchase Division in New Oxford, Pennsylvania has successfully completed the rigorous qualification process involved in becoming a G7 Master Printer. The qualification mark means our print processes use modern technology based on colorimetry and employ G7 process controls. The facility is able to achieve an extremely good visual color match between different printing devices. One proof works for multiple presses and processes making us more efficient and giving us the flexibility to run jobs on multiple presses. In addition, we have demonstrated our ability to minimize waste, reduce setup times and monitor our press runs efficiently all while printing color consistently run to run.

G7 Masters bear the IDEAlliance seal of approval. The IDEAlliance G7 Master Program is a qualification program that identifies those creative, premedia and printing companies who have been trained to proof or print to G7 Neutral Print Density Curves and can meet print buyer requirements to produce proofs or printed output conforming to the metrics that reliably render brand images across print locations and different printing types. Attaining G7 Master status is a competitive goal for those providing creative, premedia and printing services worldwide.
