TimBar’s Safety Program Recognized

(March 11, 2008) TimBar Packaging & Display’s Miami Division is being recognized by the AICC (Association of Independent Corrugated Converters) for its safety efforts. The association is planning to award the facility with 2nd place in the corrugator division of this year’s Operation Safe Shop Awards at their annual meeting being held March 26-29. This is the second time TimBar's Miami Division has received this award!

This competition looks at the entire operation to honor independent corrugator plants that have developed and demonstrated their commitment to a safer workplace for their employees. It not only looks at facts and figures, it also considers the company’s overall safety policy, owner commitment, safety practices, training procedures, safety awareness methods, accident prevention techniques, maintenance and housekeeping programs.
