ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER, Oxford Division

Duties

  • Be part of the team to maintain the cost system.
  • Verify all new items for pricing with SM or personally.
  • Maintain the capacity/MH contribution measures and build pricing accordingly.
  • Coordinate all RFP and bids.
  • Manage the margin impaired items and account process for the SM but directly with the Sales force.
  • Coordinate and maintain the account strategy process for all Strategic Growth, Critical Maintenance, and Impact accounts. Hut Waite account format is the chosen vehicle for planning and communicating.
  • Coordinate the target account process with the Sales force - who, why, what, when, potential, where.
  • Coordinate cross division market studies and opportunities.

Education

  • Bachelors degree preferred.

MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR, Oxford Division

Duties

  • Monitor and lead associate support to drive the culture for continuous process improvement through principles of team building, employee ownership and combined shift effort.
  • Train, coach and counsel personnel to meet and exceed company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure established best practices and procedures are followed by all on all shifts.
  • Utilization of safety matrix, 7s principles, OEE performance measurements, Value Stream Mapping, ISO quality standards for continuous process improvement.
  • Monitor team associates to ensure standards, measurables, existing policies & procedures adhere to the principles of Safety, Lean and Quality initiatives with recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Day to day reconciliation of all manufacturing statistics.
  • Ensure compliance of organizational policies, procedures and programs.
  • Works closely with Process Improvement Champions & complex managers in search of avenues for continuous improvements.
  • Overlap & communicate with other shift Process Leaders.
  • Conduct process meetings relative to safety, quality and lean initiatives.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the day-to-day reconciliation of all manufacturing statistics.
  • Ensure error proofing devices are utilized, maintained and in sound working condition.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years experience in related field or combination of (Safety, lean principles, quality standards)
  • Computer proficient

Corporate Purchasing Manager, Headquarters

Date Available: Immediately

Direct the purchasing activities of the Corporation by establishing and maintaining effective purchasing procedures and controls, analyzing cost, benefits and recommending or directing action needed to leverage purchasing and financial return of the Corporation. Provide guidance and counseling to the General Managers and the Senior Lead Team with respect to purchasing. This position will report to the Vice President of Finance.

  • Direct the preparation and analysis of purchasing across the Corporation.
  • Liaison with the General Managers, Senior Lead Team, local purchasing personnel and vendors.
  • Coach and provide mentoring for subordinate employees to ensure competency is developed and/or maintained.
  • Accountable for timely communications with key personnel with all aspects related to purchasing across the Corporation.

Education/Experience

  • Professional credentials such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) that demonstrates experience and expertise in purchasing.
  • A Bachelor's Degree at a minimum with broad business skills, including finance. Must be experienced with interpreting financial statements in order to qualify suppliers.
  • Leadership ability to convert advocates of decentralization to centralization.
  • Proven experience with initiating, leading and implementing PCard, Ghost Card, and Payroll Card programs.
  • Advanced purchasing and negotiation skills with employer and supplier references
  • Verifiable record of cost and price savings, including the reduction of transaction costs. Must have a through understanding of the metrics to be presented to management for tracking and approval.
  • Evaluation systems for supplier performance
  • Proven ability to consolidate supplier spend enterprise wide.
  • Experience in working in a privately held company useful but not necessary.
  • Corrugated packaging experience helpful but not necessary.
